Not at all. I do live on an estate and I certainly wouldn't leave her or my youngest in a park without adult supervision, and in that case I certainly wouldn't leave them with strangers either. It's me or the missus watching or nothing.
As for the Mad stad, she is not familiar with her surrounding's, would I leave her on her own or with a friend of hers? Hell no. Especially at half time when the doors are wide open and they could wander off out somewhere. It's not an over reaction, kids get lost all the time due to their exploratory instincts. It's not them I don't trust, it's others.
i think thats a huge shame.
was always allowed out to play unsupervised as a child, and im pretty sure the level of child abductions hasnt really grown since then.
