Exactly. And having let us down at that point (only he truly knows how injured he was at various points during his career with us) he could no longer be relied on to be a key player for us. Therefore IMO his departure this season was no great loss. Rather have a slightly less talented but far more robust/reliable player in his place.

Other facts: Kebe picked up far more injuries than most other players. Compared to most players, he was very slow to recover from his injuries and often encountered 'set backs'. He was often missing due to injury when the team/club had hit tough times and people needed to stand up and be counted.
i fully believe jimmy kebe knew he was being sold, and therefore didnt want to jeopardise that by playing and running the risk of snapping his paper thin tendons again.
