Have not seen this mentioned anywhere

Garath McCleary, Danny Williams, Danny Guthrie and Anton Ferdinand all played for 45 minutes earlier today in a game at the club’s training ground

Allelujah

Never thought I'd be looking forward to seeing Anton Ferdinand play.

If Ferdinand can only play on one leg-he must still be worth a punt on Saturday.

If I were an RFC player I'd be constantly on the look out for an opportunity to 'accidentally' shove Pearce down a flight of stairs.

So that explains the lack of any interest in actually getting a player in on loan then, expect a team of unfit and semi recovered players tomorrow. Least it can't be worse than the defending the supposedly "fit" lot manage to put together.

What's happened to Shaun Cummings? He is better defensively than Gunter

Out of interest what sort of injury are you wishing on him? Just a sprain or perhaps a double fracture?

Pearce has been worse than Hector but in all seriousness he's been pretty decent in the past with an experienced partner at the back. If Anton gets fit, it tricky to know who to drop really.

One needs to go though because as a partnership Pearce and Hector just aren't working.

Stick with Hector, much better footballer just needs experience and to bulk up a bit. Pearce is so limited it's frightening, Adkins must surely be looking to get rid at some point, not his sort of player at all.

Not enough :| 's in the world, he has had a poor start to the season for sure, people have such short memories, he was instrumental in our champ winning side a 3 years ago warranting, and rightly so interest from premier league clubs.

I'm not denying Pearce was quality for us that season, but the style of football we were playing suited him. The style Adkins wants to play does not, anyone can see that. Plus I dont think he is good enough for the prem. But hey, cling onto the past as much as you like

Like I said, he seems decent next to someone experienced who can guide him and tell him what to do. Doesn't seem to hack it otherwise.

Harsh and mean-spirited post.

Pearce has demonstrated that he is more than capable of tripping over his own feet and falling down said flight of stairs.
