Among other things, it's the chairman's job to be cheer-leader general. If we finish well and he chooses to express a sense of vindication at that, who can blame him? He's taken a ridiculous amount of ignorant shit on here from people who only blame him for failure. Why shouldn't he express his pleasure when things go well (and take some of the credit)?

Lets avoid talk about vindication until we are safe...if that happens.
The signs are looking more promising and Plymouth on Tuesday offers an opportunity not only to move out of the bottom three but open up a big gap between us and the Janners.

Because the SJMH (haters, obviously) think that if things go badly it's his fault - if things go well it's in spite of him

I wouldn;t begrudge SJM coming on to the pitch at the end of the season to thank the fans for their support if we stay up.

Although to be fair I suspect we'd feel a little sheepish if he did.

If we stay up this season it will be in spite of what's Mr Mad's done, not because of it. That's purely in a footbal sense and not a business one.

2 world wars, 1 world cup If true I am disillusioned beyond belief and am speechless.

The way I'm feeling right now I'm shocked and extremely upset if true and for the first time in 28 years I'm not sure I will be able to bring myself to see my beloved home town play again this season if true.

How do you feel now :D

This is the thread where we show we kept the faith isn't it? Now guaranteed safe from relegation with 5 matches still to go.
Bacon Double Cheese in this thread on 27 Jan 2010 Congratulations Brian. He's a top, top bloke and I feel 100% confident we will be in the Championship next season.
