MmmMonsterMunch I think Leciester are the most likely to drop out now surely? Cardiff 2-0 up. Surely they can't implode AGAIN?!!

You really never know with Cardiff..but if they can put a few more past Leicester it won't go amiss on the goal difference front. With a demoralised Leicester traveeling to play West Brom late Friday afternoon they could become a realistic target for us.

I think Cardiff look decent & I can see them getting 5th minimum TBH. Mind you their next 3 games aren't exactly nice!

Surely it is out of our grasp now though? Absolute minimum requirement is going to be 70 & given that all the teams occupying those spots have more than 60 pts now, it's looking like 72-74 pts to secure play-offs. Can see Reading needing 21 pts.

Don't mean to pee on the parade but WBA was massive for us & we couldn't finish it off. Still well done Brian. Sterling effort.

Depends. If Leiecster lose tonight and at West Brom they have 61 points from 41. No guarantee they will reach 70 points. Nor Blackpool either.

Watford now 2 nil down against Palace. Watford will end up being our bogey team again no doubt as they beat us to ensure survival!

As it unfolded, yes --had instead it been we who came back from a goal down, etc

Two points dropped at home, but it has to happen, so best to a side of that calibre instead of Posh/Argyle/Palace et al

A point was a good get to round out that run of three; now Cardiff looms as a real six-pointer (but we gotta take care of Ipswich and Coventry first, and we need a minimum of 4 points from that and scarcely could afford to drop two, what with Cardiff and Newcastle next up)

Maximum points from the last four of the season (Posh>Scunny>Watford>Preston) is a realistic goal, but so rarely does it ever pan out as such

All of which is just another long way to say "One game at a time" lolz

Ipswich & Cov are definitely winnable. If we went unbeaten for the rest of the season we wouldn't be that far away but....a bridge too far IMHO. I am just happy with top half really!!

So Leicester 9 points clear of us having played two games more. By Friday night it might be 9 ahead but from 3 games more. I reckon its still on.

Does that affect our play-off chances then?

It doesn't affect any WC chances if you support Wales.

Relax Rooney won't be about for three months with that injury.

MmmMonsterMunch For Reading to even have a sniff of playoffs we need 18 pts minimum from 24. Just can't see us getting 6 from 8.

Of couse, this team could NEVER go on such a run of form

Seeing as we're on it at the moment, all good things must come to an end at some point...I truly hope not but think it's slightly out of our reach. A top 10 finish would be amazing though nonetheless & I think we'll do that.
