Norfolk Royal I haven't had any texts, PM's, phone calls, emails, from anyone and have no idea what's going on.

+1.

Can someone just say what they've been told? How hard is it? I won't even get annoyed when it turns out to be untrue, I promise.

extended-phenotype - DO ONE!

The main man who is ITK has been told not to say anything. All he'll say is that the board will go into meltdown when it's announced. So I read into that that it's Gylfi. He has, however, confirmed that Matt Mills won't be returning - which is  for me and :D for most other people by the sounds of it!

This thread has got soooo much better since it hit 200!
If its sig i would be so surprised as he has already said he is joining the swans, but it would be the best day ever if he did come home!
Bertrand would be an incredible signing considereing he started the champions league final, and is in and around the first 11 for cheslea!
Schlong clearly still loves reading hence why he is always around the training ground, however it would be odd to resign less than a year after leaving and i think WBA would want serious dolla for him!
But at the end of the day it could be any of them and i think the board would go into meltdown no matter which one we signed as they are all quality players!

I'm sorry to be like this, but I can't get any enthusiasm together for a possible return for Long. Sure he's pretty good, but you couldn't even say he's exactly a proven premiership player yet.

He's no Gylfi.

Gylfi.

If this really is as big as it sounds like it might be then I would rather people ITK said nothing, for fear of scuppering the deal ( Re: Gylfi loan deal in january for an example). What will be will be.

Just so we don't jinx it, let's not mention the words Gylfi or Sigurdsson on this thread until we know who the player is.

Well we're cracking a fair pace at the moment... I haven't seen anything move this quick since Caskey came home early one afternoon...

Tokyo Sex Whale BigMike has played an absolute blinder here. I've enjoyed every moment of the last 7/8 pages.

Agreed, for a change I'll actually be more impressed if this turns out to be complete BS

Does anyone not think that if Rodgers does go to Liverpool it's more likely that they will be the ones making an 11th hour bid for the player who shall remain annonymous!?
