Platypuss One positive side-effect of going out early is that we will avoid the later league fixture congestion that other clubs who are still in the competition will have to deal with.

Ermmm....Doncaster moved, possibly Derby away.....

Thaumagurist* I see on Sky Sports News this morning that Harry Redknapp is going to rest some players this Saturday and play a very much weakened team in the FA Cup against Man Yoo.

I wonder if there will be an outcry in the media about this.


Funny enough, Man Yoo also fielded a weakened team in the FA Cup Semi and they're now out.

Any outcry over this yet?

Or do they only attack little clubs for having the cheek to do so?

As I said on the thread on GENERAL FOOTBALL - a lot of people paid a lot of money to watch that game, if I was a Man Utd fan I'd feel hard done by, personally.

Nothing to do witht he fact he's a Barnsley Fan then. Ie, we played them Saturday and they had a cup run last season and now they are going down? :roll:
