Lol! I've heard some promising mutterings, and it would be a huge relief if it happens.

Seem to recall you've been quite reliable in the past and on similar things to Elm Park has been reliable on.

If what he heard is reliable then Thursday or Friday could be very good times seeing as he said maybe this week.

Well one positive outcome of all the upheaval is that when we start to have discussions about the team again, it'll feel like we're starting again when even having a moan will be fun! Perhaps.

Well the guy who reported the info is very close to the club and he's been bang on so far. Like all of us, I hope his optimism yesterday proves to be on the money.

At this point, I think the earliest it will be is Saturday morning.

I don't think they'll wait uneccessarily. They'll be hoping that once this goes through (again, assuming its close and it does) the EFL will let us register new players. I'd be surprised if they don't have the odd free transfer lined up

Quick question, so we (Reading) cannot sign any players during the ongoing takeover process yet Everton are still buying players plus are currently building one of the most expensive stadiums in England!!! and now back to square one in their takeover!!

We haven't submitted last year's financials, that rules out signing anyone regardless of the takeover.
