JimmytheJim Nobody's going to believe me but I just spoke with Royston drenthe 's dad outside the madejski hotel. He confirmed that his son is signing for Reading.
I am extremely excited.
His dad was smoking a cigar and looked about 30.

URZZZZZ He has fallen out with managers, been videoed drinking beer while racing his Ferrari, as well as reportedly turning up to training intoxicated. Is this the sort of player we want at the club, or should these past problems overshadow his on-the-field performances

JS28ZoD I'm hopeful that this will be completed soon but there is only one reason all of this has been leaked to the press, so that the agent can try and drum up other interest. Lets hope that our offer remains the most attractive, it would be the most exciting signing we've made in my lifetime!

I can just picture this conversation now...
Jim: Hi there I see you're black.
Man: Erm, yeah.
Jim: So is Drenthe.
Man: Who?
Jim: Royston Drenthe, the guy we're signing.
Man: Oh.
Jim: Seeing as you're black too, and he's probably here, I guess you're a relative. Are you related to him?
Man: Yeah right I must be related. Actually tell you what I'm his dad. Happy?
Jim: Wow! Let me tell HNA!!!

You are very young as you clearly don't remember us landing the legend that was Keith Scott .

JimmytheJimIan Royal TBH, if you see his dad there, it's kinda overkill asking if Royston's signing. WTF else would daddy be doing there?
Funnily enough, I didn't recognise his dad. Just saw a dreadlocked man standing by an expensive vehicle and thought I'd take the risk of looking a bit racist.

TBM Palace are said to be interested in him now as Zaha won't be loaned out by Utd

Unphased Royal If the contract has been signed, which seems to be the general consensus, it wouldn't matter if barca were interested at this point as he has already committed himself to us surely?
