Precisely. Why I posted the link.

But how would I have posted the image.

I can't paste it. Tried "image" and putting the URL inside...

Just paste the link, highlight it, then click the Img button next to the URL one above the Post a Reply Box...

Reading Chronicle today says the initial fee is only £200,000!

So I assume the remaining £250K (£450K quoted with add ons) is if we get promoted to the PL and he scores 20! Sounds like a very cheap deal.

cmonurz Is that Andersen in goal? Flippin' massive!

Alex McCarthy

That is McCarthy. But I walked past Andersen the other day and he's massive.

I'd say Andersen's got the best build and stature for a keeper out of all our young'uns.

Reading between the lines I would say this is pretty accurate and even the tongue in cheek comment not far off the mark. I reckon the next payment will be triggered by a fairly likely scenario (say 50 appearances or 20 goals) but suspect that the final clause will relate to promotion to the Premier League.

Having seen the brief highlights of the reserve match he does seem to have composure in the penalty area although I know this is in a reserve match against poor opposition. Dangerous to judge on highlights recordings but he seems to show this in the OS feature on him playing for Hereford too. If he can show that same asset in the Championship he could be a bargain though I have a feeling we may have to put up with some of his tricks not coming off as well as those that do.

It needs to be the url for the photo, not the webpage; ie., it needs to be the one ending ".jpg".

Right-click on the photo to view it. Copy and paste its url between the IMG tags. Hey presto.

You don't know how to post an image?

Don't you know that it's really useful. Afterall, they say a picture tells a thousand words - or in your case saves a thousand stats!

Anyway, he can't jump. It's quite clear from that picture that McCarthy has just released him having launched him up into the air!

Also, i'd quickly like to bring something up. The nickname 'The Beast', why are we copying other clubs with this nickname, i.e Preston with Parkin. We seem to do this a fair bit, and it's kind of annoying. He isn't THAT big once you see him on the pitch.

Cringe.

He was called that at Hereford. It's not as if we dreamt the nickname up.

"We seem to do this a fair bit." Really?

Corrected for you, but I have no idea if Hereford fans do this a fair bit or not......
