Agreed

Just been through this thread and what a crock of shite has been written.

Adkins was spot on with his subs. Pog was on his way to a second yellow so had to go.

We had chance to go 3:0 but mcleary fluffed. Obvious they were going to come back at us. Great win.

This. This. This.

Subs were bang on the money. Stopped the immense flow of pressure that we were under at the time also.

<3 Adkins (ish)

So years on and Stuart Attwell is still seeing things that don't exist!

Just how was that a second yellow for Gunter? He is facing the ball in an attempt to head it. He then seems to get his head on the ball and, having done so, falls backwards and into their player who is running across the back of him. Not only does PrAttwell bizarrely see it as a foul but also one that warrants a yellow card!

Man Friday Well done Reading. At last a performance to be at least half-proud of.

Now let's have more of that McD-type football that got us the win with fast counter-attacking wing play and plenty of guts and resilience.

Nope. This was a Nigel Adkins performace. Give him grief when we lose games, by all means, but last night wasn't a soak up and counter job. We played well, controlled vast periods, and won the midfield battle.

First 35 mins, yes. Second half, nope.

After they hit the bar, I thought they ran out of steam. We were the better team again (or basically, we got a grip on the wonderhorse)

floyd__streete Best thing about that goal for those of us listening on Radio Notts coverage on 5 Live Sports Extra was the disappointed silence in the comms box as the goal was scored

Took a few seconds to actually realise we'd scored

Gunter must be feeling pretty hard done by - that's two shocking decisions against him in two games.

Gunter said himself, he thought the ref blew for a foul on him. Terrible ref again.

southbank1871 McAnuff for Obita please Adkins.

I already dealt myself a  for this. Besides, it was the hobnob equivalent of motivational booing, so I take full credit for his goal.

But the summariser on The Football League Show must be related to Attwell because he said that Gunter had deliberately tangled with Mackie to bring him down and prevent him breaking free and that it was a worthwhile yellow card!

Avon Royal
floyd__streete All very well the f*cking Forest fans applauding Gunter off the park, he's been utter sh*t for us from the moment he joined the club, would you like him back :?:

Grow up.

Care to argue otherwise then? Utter liability week-in week-out, put the win on Friday in danger with a typically poor piece of positioning which led to the foul and second yellow.

Take your respective RTG's off....poor positioning from Gunter, fella got in behind him, he mistimed the header and brought the bloke down as he landed. Yellow card.
