That said it doesn't mean it was signed and the contract offered could have been rejected which in turn would have allowed Norwich to bump up the price a bit

Very odd bunch. I remember when they beat Man Utd a few years back, the camera panned into the crowd to see them celebrating and it was actually like a scene from The Hills Have Eyes.

He's not been great this season for Norwich so far. Has looked disinterested when he's been playing, which isn't much. Whether that would change at a new club I don't know but on balance I wouldn't spend the money required on him.

Transfers are a joke today, and this coming transfer window often see's over inflated prices. IMO Reading should stick to their guns and ask for 8 figures for Moore. We don't need to sell, and we most certainly don't want to. If we give him away for a poxy £5m then they'll be a lot of unhappy supporters (again). Norwich were asking for upwards of £9m for Oli weren't they? I still can't imagine us forking out that sort of money, but we are a different club these days - just a shame we tend to buy a a fair bit of rubbish! BTev is very hit and miss.
