All on the pitch when Thaksin Shinawatra is introduced to us then...

Alternatively the 5 richest Thai's currently according to Forbes are :

The Chirathivat family (retail, property) approx $12bn
Dhanin Chearavanont (food) approx $11bn
Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi (property, beverages) approx $10bn
Chalerm Yoovidhya (beverages) approx $10bn
Krit Ratanarak (media, property) approx $5bn

So, presuming all this is ratified, I feel a pre-season tour next year to Bangkok coming on.

Bye bye Samuelson!!!! Thank god he's gone! Never want to see that crooked bar steward in Reading again

Although, Wolves may need a new owner. Go on Samuelson you know you want to

Be careful visiting the place in the top photo - inhabited by an assasin with a gold pistol if the program i was watching the other day is to be believed.

3points Happy to have a stadium naming rights deal. SJM can have the West Stand named after him instead.

Thats one of the ways to stay within the FFP rules I would imagine ...

Lovely hot donuts! Obviously relieved if we have a knew owner who can invest money into the club BUT I would be extremely worried of it really is this guy who is an owner of Red Bull. New York MetroStars, SV Austria Salzburg and SSV Markranstädt were all bought by Red Bull and then re-branded as New York Red Bulls, Red Bull Salzburg and RB Liepzig respectively. All have almost identical badges and identical kits.
The FA would almost certainly block a name change (they blocked Hull Tigers) but they would be powerless against the kit change and the words "Red Bull" being plastered on everything other than the badge. To be honest, I don't find that prospect remotely appetising even if it brings success!
The two glimmers of hope are:
1) The general football supporting public & media in Britain probably wouldn't stand for the re-branding.
2) It seems, from the extremely limited amount of information we have, that it is actually this one specific Thai fella who's buying the company as opposed to Red Bull GmbH who bought the three previously mentioned football clubs.
Fingers crossed.

Save the club, pump money in v Change colour of shirts - I know which one I would choose!!

Which one?

In for having a silver and blue hooped shirt with massive Red bulls on it and buying half of the winning World Cup team.

Blimey exciting times. I think we're all going to be a little more cautiously reserved for a while this time, aren't we?

I hope he's not as loony as Vincent Tan (yes I know he's not Thai before any pedants feel the urge to tell me), or as dodgy as Thaksin.

I won't believe this takeover saga is finished until I hear Samuelson say 'I would have got away with it if it wasn't for you pesky kids'

It isn't him though. Too many getting over-excited by one random kid's claim it is that guy, but Charles Watts says no.
