Well written Dirk.

Just to add to the Brynjar epitaphs.....(home to Scunny, I think) playing RB (i think) he was looking "caught in possession" on the wing. A neat (near vertical) flick over his onrushing challenger, was followed up with meeting the ball the other side of the bemused player before it hit the turf.....barearsed cheek and class that you rarely see these days.
