Evening Post is claiming Liam Rosenior is going to Ipswich on loan.

What a joke.

tomrfcurz SSN claim just need to get details confirmed for Howard/Harper deal

Can't fathom this at all, unless Harper made it clear he wanted to move?

Might have done, didn't he previously reject a move to Sheff Utd, interesting, maybe BR told him he's not in long term plans or something along those lines

Morrisons is a northern supermarket - easier for the lad to get brekkie.

David Wright used to be at Crewe and Wigan.

Pretty handy back in the day. Bit average now, but still 100x better tha Rosenior.

Rodgers - ' We need more experinance. '

Harper, an experinanced player, is set to leave, in favour of a Sheff Utd reject.

Terrible.

I did say a while ago that it was almost as if Rodgers didn't want to play Coppell's players. Of course, I got shot down for it - but it certainly makes you wonder doesn't it? Mind you, 3 minutes left and nothing more on Harps or Rosie.

Quality >>>>>>>> Experience

At the moment we need quality players, we've bought Rasiak and McAnuff, 2 players who have played at this level a long time, that is some great experience, more may have been needed certainly but i'll be happy with what we've got if this is done

Blimey, this all rather different to

"I don't know what's wrong with my team but I'm happy with the players I've got" :|

Money, Rosenior would still be on pretty good wages. The club would want him off the wage bill if possible. nothing to do with Brendan besides him being aware that the club wants rid of the expensive players.

Aged 29, missed most of last season with a hamstring injury, so could be a risk (players often not the same after injury).

On the other hand, also mentioned as being captain material at Ipswich, so presumably leadership skills (I see that Howard was captain at Barnsley, so could be some sort of theme there - BR wanting leaders on the filed, that sort of thing?).
