Zip
Hound Making some huge assumptions here but might be how we line up ina months time

Lumley
Yiadom Sarr Holmes BOO
Meite Hendrick Shackleton Ejaria
Ince
Joao

Bouzanis, Puscas, Tetek, Hoilett, Dann, McIntyre, wickham, Luongo, K Ehib

Camara, Southwood etc in reserve

Not too terrible

 There are a lot of assumptions with those six signings. I would be surprised if Puscas stayed.

Yep I know, bored at work

Agree on Puscas but just can’t quite see the logic on selling him if we can’t use the money from the sale. Doubt his wages are the level where it’d make a massive difference him going

Would think TommyMc starts ahead of Holmes personally

Think ince rates Holmes higher. Also sarr is left footed.

Jnr says some random has mentioned we are linked with Tyrese Fornah. He is a cdm who was with Forest and had a successful loan spell with Shrewsbury last season.

Yeah, was a random post on Twitter last night.

It means one of two things - it is true as he is hardly a well known - though rated CDM - or the poster was bored and wanted to see how well a believeable lie would spread amongst the fan base.

Saw the tweet. Seemed reasonably genuine as a bit random to make up

Apparently a very good spell at Shrewsbury and would fit the bill, and can’t see him making Forests first team anytime soon. So maybe

Oh yeah, I'm erring on the side that it is true simply because it is too left field to be worth making up - if he had said he'd been told that we were about to sign Matt Miazga again (or someone like that) then I would take it with a bigger pinch of salt than I currently am.

Coming to us would be the logical next step in the guy's career after two successful L1 loans - if Forest hadn't have gone up, he may well have been in their matchday squad this year.

Only time will tell but if it is true, imagine we'll get some more solid news on it in the coming days.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this was true. I was wondering mainly because of the Welsh connection if Bowen and Cooper’s paths have crossed in the past?

I don't know much on the player as I don't tend to watch Shrewsbury but just had a quick look on him briefly which shows he's had a good couple of loan spells in L1 now, so yes you might say he'd be ready for this level.

He would definitely add depth to our team in a position where we lack numbers currently so I'd be behind that signing.

I'd like us to add a permanent addition (or a couple) in the middle of the park if we can though. Assuming we sign Hendrick, Shackleton and now this guy, that's 3 midfielders on loan which would just leave us in the same position next summer, with very few contracted options in midfield.

Southwood not going anywhere apparently, which makes our decision to sign two GKs seem even more ridiculous.

Bad for his career but I don't blame him really. I think he would have been fairly happy as the number 2 keeper fighting for his place in the team. To bring in another keeper on top of Lumley was a bit of a slap in the face imo. Southwood is a perfectly adequate back up keeper.

Fair play if he wants to stay and fight for his place or if anyone in for him isn't the right career move but it just seems as if his career might stagnate a bit if he ends up being 2nd/3rd choice. Signing 2 goalkeepers makes me think he won't even make the bench, which I'm not particularly fussed about.

Would have rather him just moved on for a 6 figure fee really. It won't benefit us massively, but better for us than keeping him on I suppose.

Yep. I imagine he'll end up on loan in League One before the window closes.

Good news, let's see what his involvement is like next season, or whether it's another year developing in the U23's or maybe even a loan move somewhere.

Excellent

That’s all the outstanding except Samuels isn’t it - and led to believe he won’t sign

Hopefully Puscas goes and Clarke becomes our number 2 striker. I would rather he stayed here and was given game time, we have to look to the future.

That's correct, Bowen has confirmed he is looking to leave.

Wording on the announcement again is "has signed on for the 22/23 season" , I hope they are doing that so as they don't want to make it public how long he has signed for and that, like Camara, it is a 3 year deal and not just a 1 year.

Am I right in thinking now that every young player i.e. u23/fringe 1st team who was offered a deal has signed it (with the exception of Ashcroft), only first team players left?

Also means that from now on, any player announcements will have to be new players coming in.
