I guess it all depends whether he wants the money (us) or Premiership football (Palace)

Hopefully he seeks money over the best league in the world

CholseyRoyal
Divvy why are you all expecting a double unveiling? where has it been said (officially) that we will conclude two deals THIS WEEK?

Wasn't it Anton himself who said he expected two signings last week. People have been putting two and two together when it was rumoured Drenthe's was flying in for a medical today and have come up with five or any other number but four.

Exactly, last week. Now over-excited kiddies assume it'll be two signings this week. If Sharp did fail a medical, then that two becomes one, unless it's something minor and we find a workaround. In any case, this is all rumours and nothing at all to get excited or irate about. People take football far too seriously in the off-season.

Apparently the second signing is Royston's dad as he has the body of a 30 year old.

Tbh I'm not too fussed about this.

Did ok for feyenoord (ie a team in a league in a country as big as Wales), failed at Real and currently signed for a relegated nobody team in a nobody footballing country, Russia. If he was so good why was he playing in Russia?

Chill

And in true HNA style, there'll be a poll about whether or not the meltdown was any good or not, a thread that goes on for 100+ pages and it'll all culminate in Hammond/McDermott getting the blame.

This. Whatever happens it won't define our season and he's not the only player we are looking at.

So your source has just sold him a pay and display ticket that expires at 17:30? Did anyone not say Royston lives life on the edge?

 A country as big as Wales, who also are ranked 5th in the world, and also got to the WC Final in 2010.
Failing at Real is hardly a measure of how good a footballer you are, they are in the top 5 club teams in the world and we are in the championship so you cannot judge him on that.
Russia is hardly a nobody footballing country..Zenit, CSKA, Anzhi, Spartak and Lokomotiv all have world class players in their side and they are probably combined one of the richest footballing nations

Hope so. I feel that this signing could define our season, he is really the only player we are looking at,
