Sutekh Zammo Weird. Not heard from them for a while. Assume they must be taking action/keeping the pressure up behind the scenes.
I have to say that while the owners should be the ones brought to account rather than the club, just what else can the FA/PL/FL do if the owner is out of UK jurisdiction and can't be brought to account in a court somewhere? And what if the problems are actually being caused by policies of another country's government - should clubs and owners be being penalised at all? Perhaps there are legal arguments that need to be had on that point.
What legal arguments? We're not breaking any laws. We're just breaking the rules of a football competition.
I know sports governing bodies like to take themselves too seriously and refer to the rules of the games as "laws", the reality is, we are a football club that isn't playing by the rules of the league we are in. Why would that interest a court?
Why would the other teams in the league agree to let one of the other teams off playing by the same rules because they got a dodgy owner and tried to cheat the rules by selling their stadium and training ground to themselves and then ran out of ways to cheat the rules.
The level of self-delusion from Reading fans is quite high. People still seem to think we are the wronged party here.
We did financial doping, still didnt get promoted, continue to break rules on a monthly basis and people still think the world owes us leniency.
What the actual oxf*rd.
