I'm sure I've read somewhere that Parky has spent a lot of time at the Mad Stad.

Could be that he's now a STH - even if he is a Tyke at heart.

Evening standard had an article on QPR yesterday which said that a trialist would be offered a permanent contract after playing well in rangers reserves 3-0 win over reading reserves. I know it's only the reserves, but surely it's not that hard to get the result right?!

Brian Howard whipped in a good cross for Sean Long to head home and Reading doubled their lead when Long repaid Howard the compliment.

Archie's penalty Sean Long again on the Football league show.

A number of times.

Yet Manish (?) and Steve both managed to get it right.

But why?

If he has supported Barnsley all of his life, why start supporting Reading?

It's his son who is the real Royals fan, but Michael has a ST in the Upper West too - he also has one at Old Trafford, the team he attends most often. Owning a ST desn't mean he actually comes to every match - when you have his sort of money you can cherry-pick.

He only appears at Barnsley matches when they are in the news and on the telly, BTW.

You sure?? Always in the Directors area when I've seen him.

Now Chris Tarrant is a proper season ticket holder and is at most games mixing with the fans, a true Woodley boy

Are you sure he's in the directors box - or the Exec area behind it where people pay extra for a ST with padded seats and their own bar at half-time?

Sporting Life A last-minute penalty by Shane Long saw Reading move out of the relegation zone with a 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Plymouth.
If only.

I think they're assuming that Portsmouth go out of business and only two go down from the Championship.

Just watched the Reading world highlights of the Plymouth game. Commentator called Ingi Church twice, Church Long three times and Ingi Gunnar once

A different league's FA Cup preview mentions the "Majewski" Stadium... hopefully that will get picked up on soon! It is spelt right here though in the latest Reading Club Focus - http://www.adifferentleague.co.uk/defau ... ticle=1445 - as is Zurab Khizanishvili (journalist's nightmare)!

At Selhurst Park last night, when the team lists went onto the big screen, one of the Reading players - was it Jem - was called Alex by mistake. Did anyone get a photo of that? Mind you, the home team fared little better, with wrong name / number combinations on the screen. You would think they would manage to get the home team right.
