Big Foot The big question for me is whether to boo or not at tomorrow's game

I won't be booing because I will not be there. I knew the club would spew forth bollocks about PL ambitions. We all knew about the £4m shortfall. I also expect a few more players to leave. I will be stood in a quiet little non league ground enjoying a decent pint and being able to stand unhindered on a terrace while you lot waste your time and money on 2nd rate merchandise and 3rd rate catering. You know what? I won't miss the MadStad game day experience. And, FTR, I do not have any loans against my name.

Not a fan of Rasiak, but he did have one quality that none of the other strikers have: he was always available. The others are prone to injuries and suspensions. I seem to remember a period last season when he was the only available striker, and then we were glad of him.

To be fair to Rasiak as well he's a goal poacher. Far more reliablie in front of goal than any of the other RFC forwards for my money. Scored some pretty crucial goals at times last year.

floyd__streete Why are we flogging a f*cking striker when we have so few in the first place?

This ^^^

I will miss him, I thought he was a servicable striker at this level.

Hugo Boss LOL @ People thinking JM has got pots of money sat at home just waiting to be spent.

LOL @ People who think he is of any use to us then. If we just want some business expertise to run the club and come out with soundbites about promotion to the PL, we could hire some sodding consultants!

Any anyway, it's probably more of a question of providing security against loans rather than splashing out hard cash.

What would these loans do for us?

I think we can all see that Rasiak could do a job for us but as we are playing 4-2-3-1 to accommodate Siggy then perhaps we have enough strikers, so the question is have we done this in order to afford another desperately needed CB? If so I am quite happy as a quality CB is more necessary than Rasiak but if not and we are just cutting the cloth with absolutely no benefit, then I think we should all feel somewhat ********* off.

I think you may have missed something else that came out of the club today...

With one or two injuries at centre back, is there a chance of bringing Zurab Khizanishvili back?
We haven't got the means to do that.

So you can't snap him up on loan?
Once again, we haven't got the means to do that.

So feel free to feel ******** off.

For the hard of hearing and thinking.

You borrow money to fund buying/running a house or a business. So just a chance that you could borrow money to fund strengthening the squad i.e. signing a centre back.

brendywendy sorry- who do you know of who is out there, waiting to pour his cash into the financial plughole that is RFC?
do you have so much cash you dont mind just giving it away with no hope of a return?
if so-chip in my son
you have my total backing

There's people out there who are prepared to pour money into far bigger financial plugholes than RFC as is being repeatedly shown.

The fact that they won't pour money into RFC might well have something to do with the incredible ego that is our Chairman - the only thing that at RFC that is of PL proportions!

And in terms of disposable income, I suspect I, along with many other supporters, already pour a greater percentage into RFC than the 'great' man himself.

Except in another interview Brian said that Championship clubs would be looking at surplus PL players. I am still sure we will bring in another CB on loan. If not I will feel cheated.

As sure as you were 2 and a half years ago when you were crowing about us apparently surviving relegation from the Prem? Fallen hard and fast since haven't we, must be enough to make you hopeless optimists weep.

So why wasn't McD prepared to give supporters at least some hope by stating that whilst we haven't got funds to bring in Zurab or another CB on a permanent basis, we will be looking at loan players?

The catering at the Madj is the only thing worse than the quality of football.
