Focher
Tad Showbiz Easier to do this on players who no longer play for the club.

Of the players I have seen pull on the many variations of Reading shirts over the years my top 3 in no order are;

Dariusz Wdowczyk
Michael Gilkes
Kevin Doyle

Honourable mentions again in no order for;
Martin Hicks
Trevor Senior
Jimmy Quinn
Darren Caskey
Phil Parkinson
Mick Gooding
Stuart Lovell
Tom Jones
Dylan Kerr
Shaka
Steve Francis
Kevin Dillon
Nicky Forster
Jamie Cureton
Glen Little
Bobby Convey
Graeme Murty
Sonko
Jim Leighton
Stuart Beavon

I am not ashamed for supporting Reading since only 12 years ago... over that time saw some awesome (and some sh1te) players wear the hooped shirt.

1. Kevin Doyle: his movement on and off the ball, creative element and die hard workhorse ethic made our first season in the premier league and our 05/06 promotion year made us all realise what a talent he was

2. Glyfi: think what made glyfi such a talent was that he was homegrown talent from the academy. his goals from midfield were sublime and although he only had one season with us, everyone will remember the quality he gave us last season

3.Matt Robinson: bit controversial...but when i started supporting Reading FC we were on the brink of falling into the old league three, precarious over the relegation zone. He was solid at the back, a really nice guy when i met him once and generally someone i admired as a player. nothing flashy but did his job in keeping us from another relegation

Who is Glyfi? Is he one of the dwarves from The Hobbit?

Im only going on what ive seen post 1979, but I still maintain that Forster in the 2002/03 is the best i have ever seen in a Reading shirt.

2. Glen Little

3. Steve Sidwell
