Basingstoke Royal Another two points dropped and long the man that has to be blamed. Wait for Brian to come out and protect him again. No excuses.
Should have scored at least one today, and each of the last two games.
Déjà vu.

Basingstoke Royal I'm going by what the radio is saying. He is supposed to be a striker and they should be able to finish. I don't mind him normally but it's the same week in week out at the moment.
He needs to be rested for a fee weeks.

Still Hate Futcher! There's no doubt Long does miss too many chances - I just have an issue with fans singling him out for criticism every bloody week. Church also lacks ruthlessness in front of goal and his all round performances aren't as good as Long's but nobody slates him week in week out (and rightly so, they're he best we've got at the moment so get behind them).

Unfortunately the guilt edged chances against Cardiff and Watford have fallen to long. He missed two ones on ones against Cardiff and another few today. One goal in open play this season - ain't good enough. Our best striker is Noel hunt but we need someone else to contribute.

Blue&White Mage According to BBC he set up hunt for the goal which was more than most of the other attackers.

Apart from Hunt, who scored...

Terminal Boardom How long, excuse the pun, before Snowball invades this thread with more stats to show that Shane Long is the greatest goalscorer that the club will ever have?
Credit Shane for the assist but, by the sounds, chances went begging.

I think Long and Hunt are starting to display signs of becoming a good strike partnership but we need a plan b (someone like Rasiak perhaps?) and we ain't got one. Having just three 'senior' strikers in a squad that is meant to be challenging at the top of the Championship is a complete and utter joke.
