Crawley or Brighton away. When is the draw?

Having watched the highlights of the Crawley game, I certainly don't want them - nasty bunch of players from the looks of it and the manager isn't much better. I'd rather they got pasted by the likes of Utd or Arsenal tbh.

Burnley away I suspect. Somebody beatable I hope!!! (not that burnley aren't beatable, would just be a bit of an anticlimax)

Crawley looked like the biggest bunch of cheating Tossers going. For a non league team with three league scalps to be quite so unpopular is quite an achievement! I agree that I would like to see them on the end of an embarrassing tonking at the hands of man u or the arse.

Not impressed with Crawley at all, Steve Evans is a bit of a pcunt and that comes out in his team. Would be nice to put them in their place though.

Plus he seems to wear eye liner?

Most non league teams seem to enjoy the "plucky underdog" title. He thinks he is managing Barcelona. Nkob.

I don't want Brighton. After Man Utd and Arsenal I think they would be the toughest.

What is the point of the cup tied rule?

I fail to see any logical reason why a player we've signed should be barred from playing in the FA Cup for us just because he played for another club in an earlier round.

I can see logic in it back in the 1870s when it would have prevented clubs in the latter rounds borrowing the best players from clubs that have been knocked out to boost their side, but things have moved on a little since then.

Always thought thats a stupid rule as well. If you can be Cup tied, surely you should/can be league tied as well?

Through to the last 16 TWO YEARS RUNNING. I looked up the last time that happened - about a century ago.

Here's our complete record in the last 16 of the FA Cup.

2007 Man U (a) 1-1, 2-3
1998 Sheff U (a) 0-1
1935 Arsenal (h) 0-1
1929 Villa (h) 1-3
1927 Brentford (h) 1-0
1913 Blackburn (h) 1-2
1912 Man U (h) 1-1, 0-3
1902 Portsmouth (h) 0-1
1901 Bolton (a) 1-0
1882 Marlow (a) we scratched!
1879 Old Etonians (h) 0-1

I'd like to get through another round but if we draw someone good we can at least have some fun before bowing out because it is unlikely the draw will ever be as generous to Reading twice in a row. So basically anyone but Burnley.

I would like to see one of the big clubs at home. Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City or Spurs.

Not that fantastic really is it when you join the competition at the 3rd round stage-it means that we have won 2 games!!
For most of our history (about 95%)we joined the competition in the first round.
