londinium Ok.... 8 wins in a row now.... win the last 4 and then thats twelve,,,,2 play off games makes 14.

If we win at Wembley and make it 15, would they class it a league record?

They should do; 14 consecutive league wins is the most for any club; Arsenal, Bristol City, Manchester United & Preston have all achieved that number. (Arsenal in the Premier League; the other 3 in the old 2nd Division).

However, I doubt if it will get to that - if we win the last 4 games I would imagine we would get the auto spot; however....if we were to then win our first 3 in the Premier league next season, the record would be ours!

HSSC seems to think play off games wouldn't count toward the record.

Ups and Downs If we win the next 4 I should imagine we'll go up automatically.

That did cross my mind, but I can see one or other of Norwich and Cardiff winning all 4 too.

Norwich have still to play Ipswich away; Cardiff have still to play QPR, though at home.

But as I keep saying - if Cardiff get a point from that and win the other three WE CAN'T CATCH THEM !!!!
