BandiniFocher not read the thread so feel free to dodd, one of the football rumour sites said yesterday we were on the verge of agreement with a Russian based investor to buy the club. Prob not rel8ed but strange timing
I wouldn't be surprised if we start hearing rumours from local estate agents about showing both mysterious Russians and potential new signings around homes in the Reading area.

FiNeRaIn I really hope we don't start spending silly money on players and get in debt. I am a fan of the way we run things now.

John Madejski For the avoidance of doubt, I would like to emphasise that I will continue as Chairman of the club, and the club will continue to operate in the same prudent and business-like manner that it always has.

TSI has owned football clubs in Leeds, Barnsley, Cardiff and Plymouth, and it sure put them on the map.

Royal Lady If we have a black hole every season, why would anyone want to go into business putting their money in, so JM doesn't have to put so much in, let him still be the Chairman - what's in it for them?
