Nobby He played a good 20 minutes against Bristol

Yes, you're right. He did last longer than I suggested.

And he looked brilliant in spells.

But I can't think of scenarios where old pros with other things on their minds have succeeded for us.

Brynjar was pretty good last year and the year before whilst he was doing his coaching badges...

John Salako did pretty well too, hadn't he already done some media stuff?

Murty was really shit between 2005-2007 when he was appearing on the tv and radio, wasn't he?.

I think what you really mean is that Ferdinand and Keown were a bit shit for us but I don't think their embryonic media careers were much of a factor in that.

Jason Roberts has been very vocal about the John Terry/Anton Ferdinand racism row. I wonder if he would be quite so vocal if Anton 'allegedly' racially abused JT?
