weybridgewanderer if you are referring to the group on sky that were shown leaving 10minutes before the end, those were the Reading Buses drivers who always have to leave early and get back to their buses

Says the poster who used to sit in the car & listen to the game rather than going to the ground because they hated Coppell IIRC.

Nope, you don't remember correctly.
It's a free world and if people want to leave 5 minutes early to avoid an hour long queue in the car park then they should feel free to do so. Doesn't make them any worse fans than you and I, it might just mean they have things to do on the Saturday night and can't afford to be trapped in a car park till 6pm.
Many of those who leave early have small children, others are quite old and frail. Others will have families to get home to.
Support can be shown in a number of ways.

MmmMonsterMunch Ha ha. I never even used to post on here during that time but always had a read & I distinctly remember that being you. Will have to trawl through the posts & see if I can find it.

MmmMonsterMunch Well in that case other WR....I apologise for that comment.
Reasonably impressed with being close enough seeing as I didn't post on here then.
I always remembered that thread because it was hilarious.
Anyway - I think Ian Royal summed it up perfectly. People leaving are the idiots that miss out. Not much I can add.
