If the FL has presented us with the trophy aqt the start of the season we wouldn't have all this hassle now!

As I understand it Reading buses have been contracted to provide transport starting in the town centre at 12.30 and getting to the Mad Stad at about 2.30 on 29th April. Logically, therefore, the trophy would ideally be presented at the stadium followed by the obligatory lap of honour.

However if the title is won on Saturday then there is a chance that it could be presented at Birmingham City the following week and a smaller chance that if it is won at Birmingham that it also will be presented after the game there.

Nice to see all the FL (& also the local media re: the town parade) getting advice over this into the public domain as quickly as possible.

Haven't read the rest of this thread but just wanted to enquire, sorry if it's been asked already; when we get the trophy on Saturday, is it the exact same trophy we lifted in 2006?

Maguire I think Saints kick-off after us on the final day so we can't lift it at St Andrews as we won't know the result yet

My prediction, and logic applied here.

Reading, Southampton and west ham all win this weekend, leaving the top 2 decided.

Sky's live game on the final day will be Brum vs Reading, as we will be champions elect, and Brum have playoff position to fight for.

Only way this won't happen is if Southampton slip up at the weekend and west ham have a chance.

I think being crowned champs will always get you final game coverage as a rule.

Pretty sure there will be at least 2 games with "go to" feeds if anything of note happens, especially if the Southampton slip has happened.

Lolz at those thinking it will be presented on Sunday :)

I reckon Southampton will only get a draw Saturday, we will win and lift the trophy infront of 22,000 home fans come 5pm 8)

There's more worms on lines here than an angling world championship.

1. We won't get the trophy this Saturday whatever the results are
2. Is that a serious question?

Why not? That's not fair!

Yes, when we had it last time they were running out of room to engrave new winners on and ours will be the sixth new name on their since then so it'll be a tight squeeze. And look at previous winners; Queens Park Rangers FC, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, Sunderland FC, West Bromich Albion FC. They are all very loooong names which take up lots of room.

I think they start overwriting previous winners names...

Take it to St Andrew's and if Reading win then give it to them there and then. If not then fly it to St Mary's for Southampton's late kick-off v Coventry.

Maguire  at this again

You all have to sit in the MadStad for the entire duration of the Saints game until you know the outcome

I'd be up for that if they show the game on the scoreboard and pump sound though the PA system.
