Tartman actually - as I commented to him afterwards that a couple of years ago he wouldn't have had the puff to get there, let alone sing like he did, god love him.

bobby1413 Amazing - was in GML6 with Birmingham fans and was mouthing the chants from RFC. Steward saw and took me into the RFC area! Was great.

Wasted. I can't take drinking from 8am till 2am. No voice and feeling rough.

Were you right at the back on your own?
Saw you or someone like you, a bit worse for wear!, mouthing the words to McDermott etc and was expecting some trouble
As you said the steward was very calm and reasonable

I thought we were ok actually
Until they scored on a breakaway we played ok and looked unworried
After that we struggled till halftime but came out with more energy and I was reasonably confident we would get back into the game
Missing the penalty was turning point (tho having seen it in TV the goalie was only about 7 yards way when he hit it!)

Not a great spectacle and 11 and 22 from Brum team were best players for me
Showed we will be vulnerable to pace and that we missed our first team regulars. Better back up required for Prem please

What was the Federici chant about when we won the penalty? I noticed him approach the half way line looking towards the bench - was there a plan for him to take one?

Whilst perfectly legal in the game I thought that was "frowned upon" unless your goalie is one of your established regular penalty takers...

Lol @ the Birmingham steward bursting all the inflatables then dumping them outside the stadium where the away fans exit

Gotta be some serious killjoy to tell your men to go and do that

Fans chanted for Fed to take it. Fed walked up to the halfway line and looked at McD but boss man said no. Jobi was laughing and waving "no, no" at the away end.

Game was as expected really. Five regulars not in the side, Brum were much better first half but we came back into it later on. Who care really, don't think the players did, don't think any of us did.

Sorry to be a hater, but i really don't think Simon Church will make it. There's not one thing he does particularly well - worse in the air than Hunt, weaker than Roberts, poorer finisher than Alf, etc.

Obviously a game with absolutely nothing riding on it from our perspective and a bit of a disappointment in terms of performance. It would have been nice to confirm ourselves as Champions with a bang... instead, we shrugged our shoulders, with the players mirroring the fans in the stand... the message was clear... "We don't give a oxf*rd, we have the title."

Now, I don't mean the players didn't try, or weren't interested in trying to win the game, just that the steely determination to win that had been present for the last 5-6 months was wasn't really there. It meant a hell of a lot more to Birmingham than us. Totally understandably.

The players stepping in were largely mediocre, but it was good to see them given a chance... and get to share in the celebrations and achievement.

Connolly was poor. Church mediocre at everything except finishing, which he was very poor at. HRK didn't deliver despite huffing and puffing. Most of the rest of the team had subdued games, although I thought Tabb was decent and Ledge was the pick of the bunch. ALF got no service, I'd have loved to see him on the end of some of the chances Church missed.

Hi-ho, one game isn't going to prove whether they're good enough to be at the club next year.

Our fans were great, dominated the chanting, I could barely hear a whisper from the Brum fans around me for almost the entire game, apart from one moron criticising the ref for every decision... mostly wrongly.

Glad I went. Absolutely chuffed to get to see the Champions and the result mattered not a jot. In fact it helped me stay incognito that I never had anything to cheer. Thanks Church, thanks Harte!

Can anyone clear up the penalty shout in the first half? From where I was stood it just seemed like ALF got the shot in ahead of the keeper and defender, but apparently he's said the ref told him it was a clear pen. Could be why we got the second half one which looked harsh on Brum.

Anyway, we were poor but to be expected without Hunt who's integral to the way we play now. Connolly looked rusty, Church was woeful, only Tabb really came out with any credit IMO.
