Ian Royal
Woodcote Royal Either way, never being a holding midfielder, where we've always had better options, he needed to justify his place offensively and never got off first base in that respect.

Whilst others bang on about his passing ability, I remember the next person to touch the ball after him invariably playing for the opposition.

I think his 10 assists in a season and a half might disagree with your view of him.

........................not to mention McDermott's.

Anybody know what's going on with Howard? He's still a free agent, and I can't see him linked with anyone, surely any league 1 team would be lucky to have him. I'm surprised he's not been snapped up at that level.

Ideal He's shit, he's lazy and unfit, uncommitted in tackles and needs a team to carry him for 35 matches a year.

Now, what do you really think?

I noticed Griff on the periphery during the celebrations and someone (Tabby?) pulled him in to the main group - a nice gesture, I thought - but no sign of Howard.

he's been talked about a little up here in Coventry. although its more fans 'we should bring in so and so' more than any solid links.

With Jacob Butterfield's future in doubt maybe Howard lined up as a possible replacement?

It seems there is a little interest. A fan of the old Wimbledon, and now the new AFC Wimbledon said that they'd made an approach. Were concerned over wages and whether they can afford them. The other team in the picture they feel is Yeovil Town

In training I would hope...by all appearances he might be in the club's plans for 2012-2013.

He might not be the best player to ever play for us but he always gave 100% so why be so uneccessarily horrid. Good luck to him wherever he goes.

If he shifted a bit of weight he could probably still do a job in the Championship.

Out of interest is someone taking the piss with his wikipeida page or is his full name really Brian Richard William Brotherton Howard?

I still think he'd have worked fairly well with Ledge and given us a bit more quality possession if he could get in shape.

No, the problem was that he gave 100% in about 1 out of 4 matches, and in the other three he only gave slightly less than 40%.. non-committed and unfit.

I wouldnt say that. He always looked like he was trying on the pitch. He probably wasn't very fit (reminiscent of Caskey in a way) but he tried to put a decent shift in whenever i seen him play.

As much as I think Ideal is talking out of his reactionary scandanavian arse, does anyone really give a shite about Howard now? He's not been in our plans for a year or so. He's looking for another club.

Lets just leave it at "thanks for the good times, wish he'd been better" and move on.

Nah, they're looking for someone to be on the wing.
