Whatever happens this summer you WERE winding us all up and you should change your name to BigWUM.

The truth is you knew nothing. We probably have expressed interest in Gylfi but it looks very unlikely we will get him back now. Frankly unless we sign Rooney, Messi or Ronaldo I think the only player that could possibly have sent hobnob into meltdown was the resigning of Gylfi.

Obviously we will buy some bigger name players this summer - it does not take any insider knowledge to guess that - so unless you name names and are proved right you have zero credibility left.

I am afraid that you have made a bit of a rock for your back BigMike. It might have been an idea to keep it under your hat for a few more weeks until it was safe to say something. Chances are unless you PM someone you trust (and is trusted on here) and say who it is now well before the news is announced, there will always be people who believe you are just jumping on the bandwagon when you say it was him when a signing arrives.

I have no reason to doubt BigMike nor do I have any reason to believe him, but I would suspect that if he is ITK then it could complicate matters with his source if he blabs to all and sundry who this mysterious person is. The fact that we are not going to know who the source is, a) makes us doubtful that this source exists or b) maybe means we cannot grasp the friction that will caused between them if he lets this out.

I guess only time will tell.
