l0y4l R0y4l I know the team will be:

McCarthey

Shorey
Gorkks
Mariappa
Cummings

McAnuff
Leigertwood
Karacan
Kebe

Hunt
Pogrebnyak

Sorry to disappoint anybody else, but this will 100% be the team. I will do a lap of Broad Street naked if this is not the team.

FWIW I am glad Cummings has his slot back at RB, IMO our best player vs QPR

OK i'm impressed.

Terrorized their defence from the start, one of our best players, great decision by Bmac to play him!

I'll add my wholesome praise for Jobi for his performance today. Perch was shitting himself - along with any of the Newcastle defence and midfield , every time he got the ball. Top performance.

Man of the Match:

Reading captain Jobi McAnuff was a constant threat to the Newcastle defence and almost scored an injury-time winner

I was most definitely on board for this but he's worthy of MOTM today. Surprised a few people (including me).

Wish people would get off the bloke's back. He is technically one of the best we have. Now Shorey is back in, his game will only get better. They both looked great today FTR. Can't see Harte getting back in for Gunter either. Back 5 will stay like that for the forseeable.

He was outstanding yes, it's such a damn shame he can't play like that 1 in 3 or 4 games!! Not once in a blue moon.

Best I've ever seen him Play tho.

Is this guy BMcD himself? 11 posts in 6 years and he pulls out the starting line up day before game. Impressive.

CJC Before the start of this season i was ridiculed on this site for suggesting Macanff wouldn't be good enough at this level and at some point Brian would have to drop him. He will play on sat but i think i'll be proved right in the long term.

Ridicule

The funny thing is, he wasn't actually ridiculed. Three posters gave reasons why they disagreed without a hint of ridicule. But now he's really brought it on himself with this one.
