Gorkss biggest problem by a country mile is that his name isn't Pearce.
Gorkks can point to his age for some of his slowness what exactly is Pearce's excuse for being no quicker? What makes Pearce any better than Gorkss? Nothing.
Pearce can count himself a little unlucky to be dropped when he was but much of the slagging aimed at Gorkks comes from those who are just too biased in Pearce's favour to be objective about his rivals performance.
Whilst Pearce has improved dramatically since Gorkks arrival he has yet to show that his selection would be worth sacrificing Gorkks greater experience.
And, after Morrison's promising league debut today, I fancy this pairing to be given a decent spell in the side as it's the best I've seen all season.

Exactly, we are great for 60 mins then the midfield pair run out of steam, the full backs come narrow and its shooting practice for the opposition from then on.
