Don't know what you're all complaining about, it's far less weak than Arsenal's "we'll never play here again" or any "down with the [insert club name here]" songs.

They've at least put a bit of effort in to do something relatively original. Is it the height of satire or comedy? No of course it isn't, but it raised a chuckle from me. And before Caskey's Lovechild gets his rattle in a twist, I could probably muster some better comedian recommendations than Michael Mcintyre or Peter Kay and smarter recommendations than Eddie Izzard.

I never complain when a fowl is given a pen at the Mad Stad while wearing the blue and white hoops.

The Mirror has it back again, this time without the Mad Stad photos.

Archie's penalty
Stuka Anyway has anybody noticed the links to Daily Mirror and Daily Mail articles have been taken down?

The independent article was also taken down. Maybe there was an official complaint from the club?

Wouldn't surprise me, in the light of it now reappearing without the backdrop ... and an officious overreaction like this will only serve to piss the journalists off, which is the last thing the club needs at the moment!

Not at all, but if you want to attract new players in January you don't want to be a club that is being reported on in a less than favourable light, or one that comes across as being more interested in control-freakery than in being able to laugh at itself.

Stuka ^Good point, and these turkeys are from some sort of animal agency that film and TV programmes use. They'll be alive and well in 2013, not like the ones you see shrink wrapped down Waitrose.

If you think it's cruel than I do hope you're a veggie?
I was referring to the fact they are being forced to wear Reading shirts, in the same way it's cruel to make someone sit in the corner with a dunces hat on.

If the club weren't aware of this stunt (and probably supportive of it in return for some money) then they really ought to be reviewing their security arrangements (unless, of course, it was a smart bit of work with Photoshop).

I am sure that the clubs sense of humour is the number one priority Premiership players use to identify which club they are going to get their piles of cash from

Some lame arse attempt at a publicity stunt from a confused company trying to do a paddy power. It would never have happened in Magnus' time...

As previously mentioned. Weak.
