Pog gets a lot of stick, and perhaps it's somewhat justified as he seems to pick and choose when he can be bothered to close someone down, but that being said he has to start this one for me. To give him his dues he's been doing a pretty thankless task of late, playing up front on his own whilst we play negatively behind the ball, taking knock after knock eventually making way for the likes of Alfie to come on just as we start pushing up more against a tired opposition defence. This being said we're about to play one of the most physical teams in the league and we're going to need the Pog to take a few more hits for us as there is no way you could start Alfie on his own.

Talking of this game being physical, and with the recent history between the two sides, I can't see it ending 11 v 11. Perhaps we might even witness Nolan and Guthrie getting in a little scrap, only for Harte to come windmilling in shouting 'Leeds, Leeds, Leeds' and knocking the little scrotes over.

Prediction....
Reading 1 - 0 West Ham

Right as I've been positive for every game this season, including thinking we might get something at Citeh, I think we are gonna get p*ssed on from a great height. 3-0 spammers. I really want to win this one badly, I hate that lot.
Hopefully my reverse phsycology will be enough.

What with us having by some distance the worst squad in the division, I expect us to get beat as usual. Anything other than a loss should be genuine cause for celebration.

Was 5 years ago, nearly to the day, that we stuffed them 6-0 in the 2007 prem campaign

Reading 1 - West Ham 3. One win in twenty games. Usual bo**ocks about McDonet saying we have come a long way and punching above our weight and he is confident that RFC will survive. Which League does he mean?

Boringgggggggggg

DOYLERSAROYALER
urz13 I would love to see:

---------------------Federici-----------------

Cummings---Pearce---Mariappa---Harte

Kebe-----Karacan------Guthrie---McAnuff

----------------Robson-Kanu----------------

-----------------Pog or ALF------------------

You'd love to see another abject performance from McAnuff ??

Let's see if BM has the balls to end his love-in with McAnuff and drop him ...may give him the kick up the ar@e he's needed for a while

Give Pearce the captaincy and HRK/McLeary the opportunity to make that wing position their own ...

Played well against Swansea. He's captain. He's better than McCleary. HRK would play in the hole.So yes, I would like to see him start again.

No no no no - pipe dreams BUT ... its the last game of the season; West Ham have imploded after a great start, Reading imploded before a good finish. Reading are two points from safety ... with the team above them West Ham ... 8)

Played so well he was subbed ....sadly we haven't been able to assess McLearys true potential because he hasn't been given the opportunity to have a long run of games ...unlike McAnuff who has had a long run of games and has shown his true potential...
