Big Foot
Big Foot Myyyyyyy name is Daniel Carrico, I come from near Porto,
I play in midfield for Reading (READING)
When I walk down the street, all the girls that I meet say
'oi gorgeous, what's your name then?'

Myyyyyy name is Daniel Carrico, I come from near Porto....

Heard this sung a lot yesterday - sounded good.

Hmmm.
The (only) people doing the singing were you and your mates, so this is hardly an objective opinion.

However, I have to admit it sounded pretty good.

Before I laid my eyes on you
I knew we couldn't play 4-4-2
I was nervous when we tried to play
and zero points we took away
Then you came and you fit right in
All this time, oh my God where you been?

Daniel, we've needed you you know, Daniel Carrico
Daniel, you make the team complete, and now we're hard to beat..

:D

SPARTA
urz13 I do like the sound of the Santi Cazorla/Robin van Persie chant. Easy to fit in the ç sound - whether that is 'th' or 's'

Ohhhhhh Daniel Ka-ree-so (as the OS describes its pronounciation).

Agree with this, and it's noisy too. Loved it yesterday for Le Fondre.

I am fully outraged that this has replaced the original Le Fondre chant. A few 'du du du du's appear to be too much for us to handle.

Yet another song thread full of songs that will never see the light of day on the terraces. We all know it'll end up with something simple like "Carrico, Carrico, Carrico" most probably using the Here We Go tune.

To EVERYTHING BUT THE GIRL - THE NIGHT I HEARD CARUSO SING
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6GFK5IChs40

The stewards try'n sit me down each week as I watch Carrico play
He's almost as good as Messi on the ball and sprays passes either way
So we'll sing songs to the Royals, we'll sing songs far and wide
He's got time to hold the ball close not to play it loose
As the crowd goes wild

Yep - never going to be heard and it is a bit slow but could be quite effective if there were enough singing it
