Croydon Royal
maffff Statue of Katsia

We should also take the Molly Malone from Dublin and put her here.

On Wiki:

"Reading F.C. supporters sing the song, changing the name of Molly Malone to Kylie Minogue, and replacing the last line with "Singing" followed by the hook line of one of Minogue's hit songs. Initially I Should Be So Lucky was used, but in recent years this has been replaced by one of her more recent hits."

Have been to Reading games for many years, heard and sung the Molly Malone song many times, but never heard the Kylie Minogue element!?

Me neither, unless there's a Kylie song I've not heard with the lyrics "clap clap clap clap Reading"

A statue of Nicky Hammond doing nothing to represent the clubs activity in the transfer market

A lifesize painted statue of a football so we can LOL at away fans who break a foot trying to kick it.

Didn't a couple of Germans do that at the 2006 world cup? And people say Germans don't have a sense of humour.

A statue of Sir John at the Tailors with a very short pair of trousers and a jacked with no arms entitled "cutting the cloth".

A plinth with an empty cat basket on to represent the transfer kitty which disappeared a few years back.

A weeping statue of Marlon Harewood as a shrine for West Ham fans making the pilgrimage to the Mad Stad to remember the 6-0 massacre.

A fountain featuring Sean Morrison

Annie Bassett being rodgered by Ian Branfoot over the managers desk would do nicely.

Her mouth would be stuffed with Network South East cards individually dipped in South Bank toilet urine.

If it's not too much trouble.

A statue of a packed east stand all giving the finger to Matt Mills?

To the title of 'welcome home Captain, now do one!'

A lifesize, working model of Reading town centre, so its easier to get to the stadium.

As funding could be an issue, how about converting a garden gnome into life size model of Jay Tab?

Nobody has yet suggested Clive The Steward?

Or Gordan Neate?

These are the kind of people who have kept the club going without having that legacy the players and managers have gained through TV exposure.

He was the head steward for the last 5 years at Elm Park.
I'm afraid I don't have a picture

There is a picture out there in the ether somewhere of "Big" Clive escorting Graeme Souness from the Elm Park pitch.Unfortunately for now here is a picture of Souness in his pomp.

Yes and it's questions like this which prove there is a need for a statue.
