No Fixed Abode Karacan seems to have hit 25 years of age pretty quickly and not really player THAT much first team football.....

his attitude and effort are second to none. he is a good shouter/waver/pointer.
what else could you need on the pitch.#
he's media savvy, and a good talker off it.

214 first team appearances (including loan spells) and having missed the majority of one season due to injury is a pretty impressive tally.

Royal Ginger Clearly the fact that Karacan has been with the club so long has a bearing on it. Lukaku's moved around a lot. Not to mention that they may have very different personalities.

I would say Lukaku would be in a better position to be a captain with a World Cup under his belt and more life experience at different clubs. The point really was Jem still hasn't played THAT much football and from what I've seen of him, he isn't gr8. A headless chicken comes to mind.
