Z175 I think this is a bit odd. Yeah we are desperate there at the moment but why not get a PL loan for 3 months? Is this guy better than any of Guthrie, Williams or Karacan?
Personally I think we need a Leigertwood replacement and a "playmaker" doesn't sound the right fit for that!

Nameless Looks an entirely logical piece of squad building.
On the basis of having competition for every position we now have Karacan vs Williams and then Guthrie vs Norwood with Kuhl and Tishbola coming through.
Midfield looking sorted if they are all fit.

That's my take on it. Adkins will want to avoid having to nurse injured midfielders through the back end of the campaign again. And as Winchester said, he's a little bit different to what we've already got. Makes a lot of sense.

Sky Sports understands Reading have agreed a fee with Huddersfield Town for midfielder Oliver Norwood.
As revealed on Monday, Reading were lining up a move for the Northern Ireland international as they look to bolster their midfield options.
Norwood joined Huddersfield from Manchester United in 2012 and established himself as one of the best players in the Championship.
A number of clubs have been linked with Norwood, but Reading are poised to secure his signature.
Norwood will not be involved in Tuesday's meeting between the two sides and he is expected to undergo a medical at Reading on Wednesday.
