I have to say I hate this kind of thing but last night, it was funny. He ran from the furthest tunnel as well. But the summersaults were just class. I did feel we were going through the motions at this point so it did brighten the game up.

Shocking indictment of the way this club is run if we even have to borrow our streakers.

It's even more of a shocking indictment of the levels of illiteracy at the EP. Fordham wrote like he failed his English exams and his successors don't appear any better. Unless, of course, this fan was on loan from Chelsea like you suggest!

WoodleyRoyal LMFAO

when that idiot enters the field of play am I correct that this is a criminal offence?.

He does a series of woeful somersaults; while taunting the City fans.

So why did those in the Reading announcers box; openly encourage and legitimise his criminal behaviour by playing a backing track to his antics.

The Club need to ask the FA to look at this; and in my view (and I am serious) the result should not be allowed to stand. The game should be replayed.

The replay bit is, of course, nonsense. But he has a very valid point with the first part of his post.

What on earth possessed the PA guy to play the circus music when the guy came onto the pitch?! It could well be argued that in doing so the club were making light of/endorsing what was a criminal offence by one of their own fans. The FA may well not look kindly on that. It's all very well our fans, and maybe even some of the Bradford fans finding the guy's antics funny, but the club shouldn't have been seen to be making light of it. Jonathan Richards (who was a lot better than the current incumbent and a truly committed fan) was fired for a lot less than that.

Silver Fox There's some shocking profile pics on there!

Where are the 'shops by the way? There has to be endless comedy in adding his somersaulting figure to various scenes

was just thinking the same thing

The club would argue that by playing the music they defused the situation by making it a comic rather than aggressive action, which it was.
Obviously he broke the law, and will be dealt with appropriately, and I suspect the club should think about whether the music was in fact appropriate but other ways I have seen of dealing with similar situations are far worse. For example at test grounds they used to employ rugby players to act as hit squads to grab any intruders which was incredibly aggressive and used to get the crowds pretty angry. The general feeling about it last night seemed to be pretty relaxed, which is probably the way it should be.
It was certainly better value than the guy who ran on at Bradford but had no idea what to do once he was on the pitch and was much more confrontational.

His Dad was watching the Liverpool game when we rang him to say his son is currently being frog marched off the pitch

I imagine both he & his father will be at the Henley Town game tonight. Hoping to see a repeat performance!

And now, according to Charles Watts, we have an 'illusive' majority shareholder.

FFS Watts, surely the adjective you meant to use was 'elusive'. Would you like someone to show you how to access the spell check and thesaurus functions in your office software?

TBM I got a ban from the stadium, on Pardews orders, for posting sensitive information about team selections and a Nicky Forster rumour* that i refused to delete from OAE

just look up his "son" for Brighton to prove i was right

Please elaborate. I got a ban from the stadium but it wasn't nearly as good sounding as yours!
