Well this whole thing got us a "Headsgone" on Talksport. Personally I was looking forward to next season but I have to say I have no idea what's going on at the club, the money thing still sounds bad, and I'm expecting probably similar to last season on the pitch now. Still at the end of the day you you get behind the team and live in hope.

Even then, most of Pogrebnyak's fans aren't particularly happy with his wages. I know you have an unusually negative opinion of his ability, but don't assume those who rate him as a player are glad he's taking up three spots in the squad.

What about:

Paying 100% of his contract and having him to pay v's Paying 50% of his contract and having him play elsewhere with the other club picking up the other 50%.

If freeing up 50% of Pav's wages is enough to pay the salary of another striker who it is believed will do better at the club than Pav and who we would not be able to sign otherwise, then it would be worth it.
