This has just been posted up on the Cheltenham forum. I Dreamed I Won the FA Cup - documentary from 1998 narrated by Mark Radcliffe.

Cheltenham Town v Reading with footage from the first game and the replay (and some classic Mr Mad cringe footage from the dressing room).

Skip to 25:00 for the first game at Whaddon Road. (Is that Terry the Taxi going mental in the dressing room at 27:55?)

Just had another look at that Cheltenham video.

At 27:50 there's a great moment in the tunnel after the game where Madejski is heading for the dressing room, the door opens, Bullivant is heard shouting ".....it's not facking funny...." and Mr Mad turns on his heels and heads back up the tunnel.

Just ROFL.

Remember watching this at the time, enjoyed watching again. I went to every game of that run. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

"Oh, you are a stupid goalkeeper"

I think this was in the FA Cup but I got the coach up to Bolton, Burnden Park with a Reading supporting m8. Jim Leighton was in goal for Reading and I think Bolton won 1-0.

It pissed it down in the half supermarket half away end - we sheltered under a Reading FC Union flag.

Horrible day. 1991, I think.

Just to add insult to injury, the local constabulary locked us in for 20 minutes afterwards. Only to make sure the hypothermia had properly set-in, presumably.

I hate Bolton and am loving every minute of their current slow and painful demise.

This game is at least partly responsible for this, seems every time we went there around this time they cheated a result.

2-0 defeat, Jim Leighton on goal. 0-0 with about 5 mins to go, dodgy pen, Jim saves from Philliskirk but rebound falls kindly. Another on the break.

Cardiff away at Ninian Park - stood on the terrace away end when it was uncovered. Several Cardiff fans managed to get in the away end. Once they scored they celebrated - got led away by the stewards and showed off their Cardiff shirts in the process.
