Forbury Lion I renewed my season ticket today, but I may regret it..... I left it late because the club take the money straight away and since the deadline was nowhere near, why would I want to renew early? I now get an extra month before my credit card statement comes through.

If they want earlier than early renewals, they should try offering additional discounts or incentives or do what the likes of Amazon do and take payment details and only charge fans/process the order on a specified date.

Same here, my plan was to leave it as late as possible. I was also in two minds about renewing anyway. The last few games of the season I only attended because I had the season ticket. I also seem to miss at least three or four games a season because of other factors. The issues with the parking, the idiot on the microphone and putting up with Adie Williams making inane comments on BBCRB are all factors in making attending games feel more like a chore than a pleasure. Sacking Brian just makes it difficult to feel any kind of affiliation to the club. I also feel confident that if I want to attend a game, I won't have much of a problem getting a ticket in or around where I normally sit. However, I have a feeling that without the season ticket, the habit is going to be broken and before I know it I will only have attended a handful of games.

This completely.

Will renew because if I don't my kids will probably end up supporting Arsenal. And besides its Reading and they are going to need all the support they can get.

After reading the recent statement once again, I still can't see what all the fuss is about.

I haven't renewed, but I will on Friday. Also credit card timing.

Unless Colin is manager, then I'm out.

As a protest I'm going to go onto the centre circle and shit in the mouths of roller bob, longhorn and that retard photographer.

Of course I've renewed as will the vast majority in time who claim they will not as a protest.

Maybe it's a convenient excuse for those who wish to do other things with their Saturdays, nothing wrong if they do but don't masquerade under this big change at our club

We all know supporting this club is roller coaster with more dips than ups , but we'll be up again once day and they'll be back

What an absolutely bizarre thread. To think you have any impact on the club is like thinking your vote in the election actually makes a difference. You don't have a voice in what you can't control. Summed up beautifully by this quote from leon, I feel:

leon As a protest I'm going to go onto the centre circle and shit in the mouths of roller bob, longhorn and that retard photographer.

I want to move my ST seat anyway, so as far as I know I have to wait until after the renewal deadline?

Ah, yeah that's right, you can but you're advised to wait until after the renewal deadline when seats are released. That's what I was waiting for

I ask myself when was the last time I actually physically looked forward to a Reading game? Don't think I can even remember. If any other pastime made you feel like that then you'd definitely not spend 300+ quid on it.

I slowly sank to my knees in my back garden, put my head in my hands, and quietly sobbed.

I do enjoy all the people letting everybody know how extremely indifferent they are.
