Snowball I dearly hope we win 4-0, 5,0, 6-0 but I have to say the
level of optimism about this game quite amazes me.
Blackburn 1-2 Charlton (A)
Charlton 3-1 Stoke
Barnsley 2-2 Charlton (A)
Charlton 1-1 Forest
Charlton 1-0 Brentford
F8-6A
11 Points @ 2.2 ppg
I guess people are convincing themselves that, ATM, Charlton's
shots are being converted at a very high percentage and that at
the other end they are conceding a lot of shots, and "surely" we
can take advantage of that.
Charlton start fast, high-tempo. So far, except away to Wycombe we have taken 25-30 minutes
to start playing. Cardiff looked better than us until we scored, Hull were two-up after 26 minutes,
WBA barely let us touch the ball for the first 20+, Huddersfield dominated possession for most
of the first half, Plymouth were on top for 30 or so...
I fear, if we start slow, they could quickly go two up.
I've backed us to get one of those goals back by HT and to get home in the second half
but, IF we start slowly (our current norm) and IF they start on the front foot and
Taylor keeps his goal-scoring form going, 0-2 at HT could just become 0-3, another Swansea.
I'm not predicting that, but seeing 95% of Nobbers going for a win, has freaked me out!

I didn't have the balls to change my prediction. I had a gut feel we'd go two down
but my heart made me dream we'd pull them back and steal the winner.
Anybody else find it hard to predict bad defeats for RFC?
Half the time my predictions are not whatI think will happen,
they are more, "I'd like this to happen..."
On another note, are we fit enough? We haven't yet performed for a whole 90 minutes
