I’ve always said about Ejaria, he’s so frustrating at times but I’d still rather have him on our team than against us.

Even more true now considering how we defend.

Ejaria is a bit frustrating at times but I love the fact that we have a player in our team who regularly produces chucklesome “how the fcuk did he do that” moments.

Tbf I say that under my breath several times a game about a lot of our players, just mostly because they’ve done something extraordinarily shit.

If Ejaria wasn't an annoying player who at time slowed things down or made the wrong decision, he wouldn't be anywhere near playing for Reading as his natural talent is good enough to play regularly in the top flight.

Actually, that reminds me of Matt Mills.

Talent to play in the PL, managed by a League One brain and temperament. So spent his time as an ok Championship player.

And Pearce. League One talent, managed by a PL brain that his body couldn't live up to.

TBF that's pretty much any half decent Champ player.

PL players otherwise but with just one or two flaws.

The margins are slim.

A big one is application. A lot of talented players that just don’t work hard enough across all areas of the game.

Ascotexgunner I massive OMG (I think that's what young people say)
If you have a minute, check out Bowyer's post match interview on YouTube....it's hilarious.
Droopy lipped "my players performed bravely and we are tired"....FFS
If any manager of ours came out with shit like that I'd want him gone.....pathetic.

Saw this on the highlights programme
Pretty embarrassing and cringeworthy to say the least
I don’t know if he was having an off day but if he’s always like that, then I agree, you would not be impressed if he was your teams manager.

Agree on both points. The Premier League level players produce the quality performances on a more consistent and regular basis. Swift this season is a Premier League quality player because he is doing what we all now he is capable of doing on a more regular basis.
