From Despair To Where? In all my years of supporting Reading, I never once saw us beat Scunthorpe.
same, that particular game ended in a draw (I think)

Royal Rother
Snowflake Royal Sarr isn't that good is he...

No-one is.

The lack of quality and imagination makes us a pretty dreadful team to watch.

Yeah, was always going to be this season but it feels worse than it should be considering our league position.

Well done ref you clown. Told the wall to get behind the line they shuffle their feet and ignore you, and you just walk away happy.

Yeah no idea why he acted all tough going up to them but then didn't actually make sure they went behind the line. And then did nothing when they took the piss shuffling forward.

Don't mind it. Lots of graft and decent tempo. Much better than the dreadful slow tippy tappy snorefest.

Done alright really. Norwich look a bit shit but they have decent players and we’ve probably shaded the half

Frustrating lack of quality in the final third but that’s generally the case with us. T Ince is quality of course but if we had a really decent set piece taker we’d really benefit

Loads of effort etc as usual.

I think we've been really good in that first half, rarely troubled by them and carried a bit of a threat as well. Was definitely hoping we'd do better with both our free kicks given their position as well, but there is certainly something in this for us.

Loum has had a really good first 45, the defence have been solid although I'm not convinced at all by Sarr. I quite like McIntyre at LWB, not exactly gifted going forward but when we've had the ball we have tried to release Hoilett, Ince and Yiadom down the right side and overload that side and we've looked decent there, I think the fact McIntyre is a defender by trade gives Hoilett the license to push on further.

Would certainly take a point if offered it now, but we've got a chance of all 3. Thoroughly expecting Norwich to step the tempo up somewhat in the second half though.

We haven't beaten them at home for 40 years. Won on our last 2 visits to their place though.

I've never even seen us play Carlisle.

What a bunch of long ball merchants Norwich are.
Their entire plan is hoof it to Pukki...who, incidentally looks like he no longer has the legs for that kind of game.
Looks like their entire business model of promotion,relegation,promotion...etc this season will derail.

Followed by a good turn that took him away from two players. Not perfect which is why he is at Reading and not still in Portugal or Spain.
