Just got to Reading driving down from Notts straight after a 12 hour night shift. Knackered but gotta be there to back the boys today.
Think we can get the win today but sadly don’t think we’ll survive.
Even if we miraculously win both I think we’re gone as all the other results keep going against us. Huddersfield will win at Cardiff. After QPR won at Burnley after getting battered the whole game I just couldn’t help but have that feeling of ‘we’re doomed’ !
I’m praying for an absolute miracle tho COYR !!!!!!

6 years ago today funnily enough we relegated Wigan with a 1-0 home win on our way to the play offs under Stam...

SOLD. OUT.

Every ticket taken for #REAWIG. Amazing from our supporters. See you later

(oh and a reminder to arrive early, and enter the stadium as soon as you can... as it's going to be busy!)

As others have said fans have done their bit let’s hope the players can repay us.

God this game is huge

Looking online shows "no events" for home ticket sales, so it looks sold out. (edit: since confirmed above)

Pay on the day at the Wigan end though. I wonder if the away end will be like Stockport's end in 93/94.

Am I right in thinking these are the only permutations this bank holiday weekend for us to go down:

Reading lose
Huddersfield win on Sunday
Rotherham draw or win on Monday

?

Yep that is the permutation that will see us relegated on Monday

My expectations of the result are low but a full house on a sunny Saturday - can’t beat it. Hope they put on a performance to match

Assumed all week we would draw and that would be effectively that. But I was not expecting a sell out. Reckon a noisy stadium could help push the boys over the line

My first game in 3 seasons

It’s fuxking beautiful here sun is shining, sir John outside the east stand posing for photos with the fans. There is an excitement in the air, it’s palpable.

Tim dellor sticking microphones in the faces of fans outside the east. Lots of fluff floating around everywhere is kinda weird. Lots of people here already. It’s a carnival atmosphere.

‘Golden gamble only a pound’, an old man in a yellow fleece shouts- inflation busting price. A win on that might offset the £6.10 pint of Heineken from the royal rendezvous.

Hmm did Paul Ince come back and pick the team today?

So much for trusting the youth
