Once again it’s difficult to praise these boys and Noel enough for grinding out another win in the circumstances

Superb result

Royals and Racers Attendance 12108(696)

If it wasn't for the 1230 kick off the Wycombe game in a week would do big numbers

Wow, who's been coaching the "Triangles" these past few weeks!! Wings goal a few weeks ago and now todays first goal were super clever intricate passing at speed!!
Some of the passing today in tight spaces was a joy to watch, long may this continue. :D

Don't want to be sexist but that lineswoman was pretty shocking, no?

A thoroughly impressive win and a very good game. Nice to watch two teams trying to win rather than trying to avoid losing. You can see why the Posh have been doing well lately.

For a make-shift back four, that was really a solid performance. I thought Rushesha looked particularly good, but Abrefa and Stickland were good too.

We were forced into some last ditch defending, but they had to as well. The volley from Savage was technically brilliant, as was Wareham’s overhead kick. They could both have easily gone in. We looked better with Wareham up front.

I’m getting more pessimistic about the future of the club by the day. Who knows if we’ll have a team to follow next season. But today the players, the management, the back room staff and everyone else associated with the club (apart form the owner, obviously) can feel proud.

Possibly missed a throw-in right at the end, but that's all I can remember.

Yeah that was it, and she was so close to it I'll give her the benefit of the doubt there. Certainly one of the better linos we've had in a while

Enjoyed that, posh have some very pacey front players, but no doubt we deserved the win, you can understand Fergusons anger, absolute nailed on pen and a red to Savage only for him to score the 3rd a couple of minutes later.
But do I care? not a bit.

She was very good up until about the 80th minute and then she had a dodgy 5 minutes or so. Overall good though imo.

Do you mean for not giving the ball out when it wasn`t? she was a yard away from it.

Yes I had to lol at the pen not given, but this was the same ref that denied us a similar pen away at Lincoln,

Didn't realise it was the same ref, and my first thought was it was very similar to the one we should have had at Lincoln. Same sort of foul and both nailed on penalties. At least he's consistent I guess.

My reaction was he got bumped in the back and threw himself to the ground

Interesting interview by Dellor with Savage after the game; basically the players feel less pressure and are able to play with more freedom than under Selles.

Probably helps of course that he's starting every week.

Will be interesting to see what Noel does when Elliott is fully fit.

No. IMO she was better than many we have had. Got most of the calls right.

And I was staggered at the number of fans giving her abuse for not flagging for a throw for us when part of the ball was still clearly touching the touchline. If people are going to give officials stick they should least make sure you know the laws of the game! That also applies to screaming for offside from a goal kick and questioning why a free kick for offside is being taken in the attacking team's (offending player's) own half!

Also, I heard somewhere that ARs are now encouraged to communicate with the ref via their radios, rather than flagging for fouls. If true, this gives the ref the final decision but, of course, leaves the ARs, who are closest to the fans, to get the abuse for seemingly not flagging for an offence.

Yes, he seemed to be implying that he wasn't being selected because he had made mistakes in previous games. Also, that if players made a mistake in a game they were subbed off and didn't get selected for the next game. Might be some truth in it but if it was totally true we would've seen Joel Pereira in goal a lot sooner than we did!
