SpaceCruiser You're right, 79Royal. Royalee, this is why you are a cock, you're making judgements before knowing the full facts.

It's now twice that he's been involved in incidents and although these things can happen, not many players get into these things twice in under a year. I agree with earlier posts in that he's an idiot for putting himself into these positions as well.

79Royal Footballers go out all the time, you can't stop them. And nobody knows the full details. If some muppet in a club went up to Leroy and started on him, then he deserved a black eye. Leroy has the right to defend himself like anyone else.

If, however, it was Leroy who started it, then he's going to have a problem. I can't imagine Coppell letting him get away with it twice.

But let's wait and see what happens before we start slating Leroy, only three games into a very difficult season for us.

It's not like the first time though is it, is it number 3 now ?

I run a pub, and there's certain people that just find sh it where ever they go, and it seems Lita is falling under this category.

You can't blame Leroy for going out in Bristol, it'll be where a lot of his mates are.

You can blame him for being a prick and getting into violent trouble twice in the space of a year or less. If there are people in Bristol who want to start on him, then he needs to find somewhere else to go. If it's him acting big and hard and lording things in people's faces then he needs to be brought down to earth.

Frankly regardless of ability I don't want a player with no self control who is a bad role model playing at my club. I'll give the benefit of the doubt until he's convicted of GBH/ABH and we hear the details, or until something like this happens again. But this is getting worrying IMO.

Comes across as a good bloke in his write-up on the "Friends Reunited" website.

sorry sir
was just thinking that Lita may have been provoked or defending himself and faces possible punishment from the police and that Thatchers attack was unprovoked , and carried out in front of 40 000 people and he will prob escape any form of punishment .

thats all
terribly sorry

Thatcher hasn't been arrested is the only relevence I can see and it's tenuous as best

just because he didn't put someone in intensive care doesn't make it alright. I'm not overly impressed with the story of him pissing in a doorway either.

This is just oxf*rd stupid. Its quite easy to go out and avoid trouble, 99.99% of people seem to manage it just fine. Its all in your attitude, his is the wrong one.

The guy fronted up a gangster and only ended up with a black eye? He should consider himself lucky Leroy didn't buss a cap in his ass.

I think southbank1871 rides with Leroy's crew every now and again, maybe he can tell us what really happened?

I wasn't even that impressed with Bristols nightlife. It seems Oceania is the only place they have other than the carling academy, and oceania is full of pricks.

Wow, players being arrested for assault, contract rebels, internationals coming here on loan, we really are Premier league.

All we need now is someone to miss a drugs test and a "Reading boss investigated over transfer irregularities" story.

Having seen him out and about a few times I'm not suprised he gets involved in trouble.

I've never seen him do anything at all to start anything, but he does strike me as having a somewhat antisocial demeanour (most often he and his entourage seem sour-faced, standing in the fringes of the club, not particularly welcoming to anyone who comes near, etc) unlike most other nightclub patrons. I'm not judging this at all, and he has every right to have whatever 'demeanour' he so chooses, but it doesn't suprise me in the slightest that trouble sticks to him like glue.

I think it's more a perception thing. People percieve him to have a bad attitude, so he's an easy target for those spoiling for a fight. It's like he has a tough front that he needs to maintain, and people with a similar attitude with a bit of jealousy thrown in are bound to take exception to this and 'test' him. He just seems to me like one of those 'leave me alone and everything will be fine' type people, which is understandable given that every drunken Tom, Dick and Harry wants to pester him... I just think he needs to learn how to back down from trouble tactfully, and not escalate the situation, but his pride probably gets in the way ('Who are you to get in my face', type thing).

I hope he does find a way to stop these things occuring, for at least his own sake. He's got a facial scar and now a potential criminal record for just a few nights out on the town.
