There's only one thing for it. Wrap him in cotton wool and Bubble wrap and only let him out on match days.

We are only one injury away from being in serious smelly stuff. If we were, God forbid, to lose Doyle now, we'd be screwed!

How much bad luck can one man have!!!??

After the run of bad luck he's had he deserves to come back and score at least 30 in the remainder of the season!

FiNeRaIn Getting stupid now. Love kitson as a player but we can no longer rely on him. We NEED a new striker in janaury, not as backup but as a starter. Kitson is going to have to prove he's capable of becoming fully fit for a change and challenging for a first team place. Can't see it being this season at this rate.

Yes, it does seem that the way that Kitson trains and plays by over stretching that he is always going to be prone to injury. Although this is a real set back for both player and club, the new system with Doyle and Seol seems to be working well, and we are getting nearer to the January window, so all is not lost

Damn shame but we seem destined to always have one injury prone striker.

Butler, Forster and now Kitson.

This news has no doubt upped the price on the heads of any strikers we were targetting in the transfer window.

Gordons Cumming
Alan Partridge Now confirmed by club.

Out for 6 weeks.

I really feel for him. I really hope he recovers both physically and mentally from this.

I really feel for him too, do not know if it is bad luck or he has a weakness in his legs. He must be feeling sick ,so near yet so far.

We have to buy a ball holding striker, sorry I will rephrase that: we need a forward who can hold up play. If we keep relying on Doyler he will end up a cripple as well, glad to see Sir Steve take him off on Saturday when the match was all but won. Trouble is I thought he might be injured but all is well.

Little has a foot problem, the club says it is nothing serious let us hope they are right. Little has made such a difference to the team since he came back,I know the standard of opposition has n´t been as high as when we had all those defeats but now we look like seasoned campaigners
in the Prem.

That decision now makes even more sense than it did at the time.

Whatever cotton wool we had earmarked for Kits should now be used on the Doyler........................thank God January is not far off :?

Kitson is great but a little fragile dont you think? we need to get someone more reliable when the transfer window is open in Jan :? Still feel it for kits though, he must be devistated after middlesborough.

Feel sorry for him to be honest, but at the same time annoyed. Why the hell is he so injury prone?

he'll be fit again. if we honestly plan on bringing in a striker in Jan, then maybe its finally time for surgery on the knee rather than slow, painstaking rehab

Don't get me wrong, I think we'd cope and have already built ourselves a very handy cushion, but there's no doubt KD's even more precious than he was before.

Can't you see a certain Mr Warnock starting a "Kick the Doyler" campaign in a last ditch attempt to save his scrawny neck

Say that to my red-haired son and he might break one of your bones!

If that 'theory' was true, Sidders would for ever be in plaster the way he goes into challenges.

Anyway, Kitson hasn't broken anything.
